With the advent of AMD’s Ryzen CPUs, many creative and data professionals have turned to Ryzen for their multi-core performance. This PC was built for a data manager/photo editor who wanted a powerful workstation PC with flair. With a red and blue lighting theme in mind, we went ahead with the build.
This PC has a powerful eight-core/sixteen-thread Ryzen 7 1800X at the helm, allowing the client to keep up with this high-intensity data management work. The client’s old PNY GeForce GTX 1050, 16GBs of Corsair Vengeance, Samsung 250GB SSD, and EVGA 500W PSU were used in his new Ryzen rig. To round out the build, we used the lighting from the NZXT Kraken X52 AIO cooler, the MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon, and the Zalman Z9-Neo case to bring together the client’s wish for a great red and blue lit interior. The build came together very cleanly, yet still has that sense of flair that many of our Lotus PC’s are known for.

After suffering the loss of his custom loop PC at the hands of clumsy delivery people, our client contacted us to build his brand new PC. We were able to salvage some of the broken PC’s components for the new build, like the custom loop pump and cooling blocks. So, we set out to build the client’s new PC with a eye-catching black/red theme.
This monster of a PC is packing some heat; an Intel Core i7-6700K on the fierce Asus Maximus VIII Hero, 16GBs of Corsair Vengeance Red LED RAM, two liquid cooled Asus GeForce GTX 980 Strixes, and an EVGA 1000W GQ PSU. The EKWB custom loop was perfectly integrated and artfully pieced together, working toward both amazing form and function. The two Alphacool radiators were each equipped with triple Corsair SP120s, allowing for exceptional cooling. Upon seeing his new PC for the first time, our client was overjoyed at the result.
